Mr. Terry Gou is the Founder and former Chief Executive Officer of Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn) .Since its establishment in 1974, the company has become the world’s largest electronics manufacturer and the leading global science and technology solutions provider.
Under Mr. Gou’s leadership, Foxconn has committed to creating an AI 8K+5G global ecosystem which will be a catalyst in promoting next-generation technological solutions and applications in all aspects of everyday life including work, education, entertainment, social, security, healthcare, e-commerce, environment, and transportation.
Foxconn has more than 200 subsidiaries and branch offices across over 20 countries. The company has also established research and development and manufacturing centers around the world and owns more than 54,253 patents.

`Mr. Gou is actively involved in a wide range of philanthropic and social development initiatives for underprivileged youth. In 2000, he founded the Taiwan-based YongLin Foundation to provide funds and support different projects ranging from education to healthcare. In 2007, the YongLin Healthcare Foundation donated NT$25 billion to the National Taiwan University Medical School to develop a world-class cancer prevention, treatment and research center. In addition, the YongLin Education Foundation initiated the "Tomorrow School" program that aims to bridge the knowledge gap by providing remedial education to students in remote villages.
